Vince Caminiti

Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Vince’s musical influences reflect all that early soul and rock ’n roll he heard on his transistor radio as well as  psychedelic and country rock of his youth.  However, what flows through all his playing is his love of the blues in all its forms.  From early Butterfield Blues Band and the Bluesbreakers through Hollywood Fats and Robben Ford, the blues became the perfect vehicle to express his musical passion.

Vince was the founder of a number of Bay Area Blues bands including Blue JuJu and Bluestate, as well as the foremost Little Feat tribute band in the nation, Featprints.  However, he is probably best known for being the producer of the venerable, nationally acclaimed, Club Fox Blues Jam for the past 20 years. As part of that show Vince has accompanied a who’s who of renowned blues artists, and in the process acquired a rich vocabulary of blue-infused chops.
